The architecture, STAR + architecture Strategies, based in Rotterdam, has made this striking critical “O’Mighty Green” against the “Green Washing” and the misuse of green in the world of architecture and urbanism. Report abuse of terminology and the term Eco Green as easy resource for many projects. The Green is in fashion and is a trend that has to stay and many of the architecture and design workshops abuse of nomenclature to surround his designs of a special aura. In “O’Mighty Green” is a course that examines the term since Emancipation, function, style … terrain to reach a conclusion ambiguous and makes it clear that it is an element that is often used without justification and as miraculous when it is not. This is a criticism of the misuse of a new style of “The Sustainability” can not be as easy as sold.
The project was presented in Barcelona in eme3 festival in July 2011 and weighed one of the prizes.

We were fascinated by the images of our beloved Villa Savoie of Le Corbusier in Eco version, that of the Pantheon in Rome or the Berlin Wall and also the criticism itself. Without being exactly the same we can say that the fashion world are attending a “Green Washing” by some of the major brands in a very minor design a product to appear Eco under the umbrella “Green” How do we know Eco really are? Many of the products presented are not. At Ecoology we are applying selection criteria very purists raw material certificates, origin and processes. Certainly it is a substantive way and that as we move forward there will be increasingly greater variety of fabrics and eco-sensitive solutions.
